Identification of Substances of Very High Concern
In a Nutshell
► Preparing for the future
Getting organised to address the challenge of a possible identification of a substance as a relevant SVHC is a vitally important step to be able to face the challenges of possible future prioritisation and the subsequent need to apply for an Authorisation.
Although this may appear premature, all the critical decisions leading to the application or not for Authorisation should be considered and prepared at this stage. Some of these decisions will have to be made by companies individually. They are often of a strategic nature and involve senior management. Some will be made collectively.
